Original Felt Painting - 'View from Murlough'

This felt painting is inspired by the view from Murlough beach, looking towards Slieve Donard and the town of Newcastle, County Down.

During my childhood, our holidays were spent travelling around Ireland. When my Dad was asked where we were from, he would almost always say, “where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea.”

An excellent description of this scene but a tad too long for the title! It's always good to reflect upon where we call home.

This piece has been professionally framed and is glazed with Art glass.

Frame dimensions: 17 ¾ ″x14 ″ x 1 ½″  (45 x 35.5 x 3.5 cm).

Frame colour: Off-white.
