Original Felt Painting - 'Savour the Roses'

This felt painting is inspired by the walled garden within Heywood Gardens Estate, Co. Laois.

My husband and I visited the gardens in the summer of 2022 on a gloriously warm and sunny day. I particularly liked the walled circular garden full of roses, its seclusion and stillness and yet the sound of buzzing bees.

Gardens provide space for us to pause and take in the beauty of nature. Summers come and go but the memories remain. This original felt painting is stitched onto conservation-grade white mount board.

This piece has been professionally framed and is glazed with Art glass.

Frame dimensions: 20″x 16″x  1 ½″ (52.5 x 40.5 x 3.5 cm).

Frame colour: Off-white.
