‘Autumnal Blarney Castle’ Original

This felt painting was inspired by autumn at Blarney Castle and Gardens, County Cork. Autumnal colours are rich, warm, and vibrant.

Blarney Castle and gardens is a very special place, and it inspired me to create this felt painting. Having spent time as a volunteer gardening team member at the castle estate, I had the time to observe how the plants, trees and shrubs change throughout the year. I love the way in autumn how plants and trees have their final hurrah before winter comes.
