You may want to commission a unique felt painting if you are looking for a truly special gift for a wedding, anniversary, special birthday or retirement for example.

It is a relatively straightforward process. However, please note that commissions generally take between 4 and 8 weeks to complete dependent upon my schedule.

First of all please email me info@noelleferris.ie  with good quality reference photograph(s) and approximate size and any other important details you wish to specify. Then I will be happy to contact you to discuss your requirements prior to providing you a quote.

Price Guidelines

Each commission is as unique as the individual who commissions it, so pricing varies based on factors such as size, complexity/level of fine detail, the quantity and variety of materials used and the time taken to complete the piece.

Once you are happy to proceed, a deposit of 25% is required to secure your commission

Many people are shy about purchasing fibre art because they have no idea how to look after it, but it’s  no more tricky than any painting. A few basic principles around positioning and caring for artwork apply no matter the medium. It is advisable to hang any artwork away from direct sunlight and heat.

I advise that my original felt paintings are framed in a deep box frame so the piece does not touch the glass. This is to prevent both mould and moth damage.

I ship to most countries of the world.

Delivery costs vary and are calculated at checkout according to your delivery destination and product selection.

I use the highest quality wool fibres, which have all been dyed to the international Oeko-Tex Standard 100. I mainly use unspun merino wool tops. Small quantities of other wools are used to create variations in texture.
