‘Dublin Bay dawn’-Original

The Poolbeg Chimneys stand tall on the south bank of Dublin Port and are a significant feature of the Dublin skyline. Built in the 1970’s they have become to be treasured by many and synonymous with ‘home’. I lived in Manchester for ten years and I can recall the many journeys taken by boat from Holyhead over to Dublin and when I could see these chimneys; I knew I was not far from docking in Ireland.

This original felt painting is stitched onto conservation grade white mount board.

This piece has been professionally framed and is glazed with Art glass.

Frame dimensions: 19 ¼” x 15″ x 1 ½″  (48.5 x 37.5 x 3.5 cm)

Frame colour: Off-white.
